It continues the dialogue launched at the 4th UPU Innovation Challenge held in Cologne and Ghaziabad in May 2026, exploring the opportunities, challenges and governance considerations of agentic AI for the postal sector.

Défi de l'UPU pour l’innovation de 2026

Building on the success of the first three editions, the UPU, in collaboration with the European University Institute's Centre for a Digital Society (EUI-CDS), La Poste Groupe France, India Post and Amazon Web Services (AWS), will host the fourth edition of the UPU Innovation Challenge under the theme "Powering Postal Services With Agentic AI" from 6 to 8 May 2026, held in Köln, Germany, with a supporting session organized in Ghaziabad, India – marking the first time the event is extended across two locations – in conjunction with the 34th Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics.
