This invitation to bid concerns the provision of specialized services to assist the UPU on research and development activities focused on a postal spatial infrastructure (SDI) with a view to promoting, in member countries, the production, access to, use and analysis of reliable, timely, interoperable, high-quality geographic information (with special emphasis on addressing) constituting a relevant input for improving the postal service. The aim of the study is to clearly define the feasibility of creating an international postal SDI as described above.
