.POST Group

The .POST Group (DPG) is the governance group that steers the UPU's .POST sponsored top-level domain name and manages the development of .POST.

Since its formation at the 25th Universal Postal Congress in October 2012, over 54 countries from all regions of the world have been part of the .POST Group, as well as many private sector organizations as associate members.

Develop .POST to represent the postal sector on the Internet;
Secure the Posts on the Internet and support them to provide their customers with reliable and secure Internet-based postal services;
Offer a multi-service .POST platform with viable products to strengthen and extend Posts' business with innovative, Internet-based services;
Promote innovation, integration and inclusion of Internet-based postal activities based on .POST.

The vision and mission together guide the overall direction of the .POST Group and the development of .POST. The business plan of the .POST Group defines the key actions for this development.

The .POST Group encourages collaboration among members, sharing of knowledge and services for the digital transformation of the postal sector. The Group is focused on increasing the internet capability of Posts in the least developed and developing countries.

The DPG is open to all UPU member countries (Full members), as well as companies and associations in the wider postal industry (Associate members) who agree to the Rules of Procedure of the .POST Group.

As a DPG member, you will be helping to finance the development of .POST.
You will gain access to exclusive member privileges such as preferential access to premium names, enhanced security monitoring services, rights to vote in decisions at the DPG General Assembly, and the chance to network and learn from fellow DPG members who have benefited from .POST.
