Since 1997, the principal aim of the WADP is to develop and promote philately through continuous and positive dialogue between partners in the philatelic sector and designated operators. Its objectives are to:
- Maintain collaboration and development between the UPU, designated operators, philatelic partners and the industry;
- Monitor market trends and issues that will have an impact on the philatelic business;
- Analyze and disseminate all information relating to the sector;
- Improve knowledge of philatelic markets among designated operators;
- Encourage and facilitate the adoption of best practices.
WADP offers its members B2B opportunities with reputable companies in the philatelic industry. After signing the WADP Code of Ethics and specific guidelines, WADP Associate Members have been accepted by the WADP Management Committee. They are are active in the following fields:
