The Consultative Committee (CC) organized a breakfast meeting on 10 November 2023 with leaders of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU), Caribbean Postal Union (CPU), Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) and West African Postal Conference (WAPCO).

Breakfast meeting with restricted union leaders, CC secretariat, CC members, DCDEV Director Mutua Muthusi, Latin America and Caribbean Region and Postal Sector Modernization Coordinator Nicolas Bilhoto, and Arab Region, Emergencies and Postal Resilience Coordinator Hashim Elhaj

With the blessing of UPU Deputy Director General Marjan Osvald, the meeting sought to broaden the CC’s mainly EU/US-centric focus to the Asian, African, and Latin American regions by consolidating existing and future partnerships between Consultative Committee Members and Restricted Unions encompassing LDCs and Developing Countries. Florian Seikel, CEO of logistic-natives, Melanie Leinz, UPU representative for P2, Steve Remy, CEO and co-founder of 8 Degrees East, and Fyeodor Ganbaatar, CEO of Mongol Infinity Post LLC, a brand-new CC gold member, were also present.
