This year, WADP is organizing a forum and workshops from 28 to 29 November 2023 on the theme of " Crypto stamps and NFTs: what future models for Posts and philately?" at the THAILAND 2023 World Stamp Championship Exhibition.

On this occasion, particular emphasis will be placed on crypto and NFT products, and blockchain. To promote dialogue and cooperation in this field, raise awareness and understanding of the needs of designated operators, and share best practices, the UPU, together with the WADP, will bring together recognized experts, postal representatives and WADP partners and associate members.

The various technological breakthroughs of recent years, which have irreversibly changed the daily lives and activities of people and businesses around the world, have also changed the game for philately and its industry. The opportunities offered by rapid innovations in digitalization and information and communication technologies (ICT) are opening up new business prospects for designated operators.
