The financial inclusion of women represents a significant opportunity for economic transformation; however, it remains a persistent challenge. Achieving gender equality is crucial for financial inclusion, and innovative digital financial services can help level the playing field.  While fintech companies are advancing financial inclusion through digital technologies, there remains significant untapped potential in gender-responsive financial service propositions. Postal networks, with their extensive assets, can partner with fintech companies and other ecosystem players to offer innovative digital financial services.  This report draws on both secondary and primary research to examine women’s digital access and the regulatory environment relating to financial inclusion. It also presents a mapping of the ecosystem key players involved in advancing women's financial inclusion and a set of recommendations to effectively address the persistent gender gap in financial inclusion.
