POST*Net gateway
Application for EDI message exchange via the POST*Net network
The POST*Net Gateway (PNG) is an application that designated operators can use to exchange EDI messages with other designated operators around the world that also use POST*Net. POST*Net is the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) worldwide EDI network.
Because PNG is a product of the UPU, absolute neutrality is guaranteed. Operational data is exchanged with total confidentiality. Moreover, the UPU’s POST*Net network and its associated service have established a proven record of availability.

UPU technical certification program
UPU-TechCert
The UPU-TechCert certification program aims to ensure interoperability and security between third party software solutions and UPU technologies.
This certification allows postal operators to implement various solutions from IT vendors to access new services, with confidence of compatibility with UPU systems.

Online reporting for mail items
QCS Mail is a web-based system that uses real-time information from EDI exchanges between designated operators and carriers to generate statistics about the quality of messaging and mail operations. QCS is also used for support activities, such as tracking and tracing.
QCS provides up to 5 years of online reports, summary and detail reports on operator, regional and global performance.
All messages that are sent and/or received via the POST*Net network are copied to QCS Mail. Messages that are both sent and received via other networks, external to POST*Net, are copied to QCS Mail if the operators have made a prior agreement to do so.

Global Track & Trace
Tracking information tool for the customers of the Posts
UPU Global Track & Trace (GTT) is an added-value service of the UPU’s EDI network POST*Net. It is to enable postal customers to track their shipments end-to-end.
GTT can be used in two ways:
- Direct use on the UPU website
- Embedded in the designated operator’s own customer website

Postal Irregularities Management System
Web-based verification note creation, management and resolution system
PIMS is a centralized web application, hosted by the PTC, for managing Verification Notes (VNs).
- No need for local IT department’s involvement
- Allows handling all steps of a VNs lifecycle (Creation / capture - Analysis / negotiation – Closure)
- Official verification notes forms can be printed at any time (CN43, CP78, E2)
PIMS fully supports the eVN standard. «eVN» is a UPU messaging standard (code M42)

Registered Articles Inquiry System
Web-based mail item inquiry system
This system automates the capture and processing of inquiries (form CN 08). An interface exists between RAIS and IPS in order to generate the relevant accounting forms. There is also an additional feature, enabling the system to handle parcels.
PTC experts also plan to configure the system to enable it to manage e-commerce parcels.
